Android L Claimed Battery Save Up to 36%
Android L by far the biggest update Google for its mobile operating system. Some of the 'miracles' is much expected from the L, ranging from the design, performance, and new features. But in fact, behind it all, there is a significant performance improvement in our view of the components that is often underestimated: the battery.

Not many know that the Android development L coupled with a project called Volta. The main focus of this project is how to conduct the efficiency of the battery consumption on Android devices.

The core of the Volta Project is an application program interface called JobScheduler API. The programming interface can be used to 'reschedule' various application or a work in progress, when the CPU activity was more active.

Ars Technica's latest tests prove Android software L can increase the battery life of around 36%!
Ars Technica tested using a Nexus 5. Brightness of the display is set at the rate of 200 cd/m2, which is verified by a colorimeter.
